This was the first year that we took the boys to the Annevar Tractor Pull. They both LOVED IT!! Of course they did it's loud, hot, and dirt was flying everywhere! All of these pictures were taken by Grady, we may have a photographer on our hands ;)
Safety first, ear phones are a must because of the volume of noise Grady liked the ones that let out black smoke
The loud ones like above had Bryce squeezing my hands and his thighs and legs wrapped tight around mine!
Bryce kept sticking out his tongue making the noise of a truck We were sitting at the finish line, perfect seats for the action!
Brad is the 'Fire Chief' of our town of Hazard so we wanted to represent our town this summer during the parade in Ravenna. Brad, our boys, and Mitch (a Hazard fire fighter) with his daughter Caydence rode in the truck and threw out candy. Grady and Caydence threw the candy while Bryce took ownership of the 'flop box' in the middle and kept his post until the parade was over :)
My Boys
We were not going to have Bryce ride in the truck
until that morning when he set eyes on it and wouldn't
stop smiling! He LOVES any vehicle that makes loud noises
The women were asked to come on stage and sing RESPECT! Jen and I busted a move out in the middle of the gals!
We went to a magician who had some amazing talent. This particular trick was...I had a card with my name wrote on it, folded, and in my mouth. He did the same writing his name on his card. He rubbed his hands, moved his face towards mine, and BAM! I took out my card and it had his name on it and his had my name on it!! Crazy!!!!
The theater where many shows took place, we attended the comedy show which was a riot!
While at supper one night our wait staff lined up, blasted some music, and did a dance for us! Pretty cool!
Every night we came into our room from supper we had a pet waiting for us on our bed! Each made from washcloths and the last day one could attend a seminar to learn how to make them!
I have the sweetest little four year old! A few weeks back when I had back surgery I had to lay on the couch for awhile. Grady had gone outside to play and came back in with flowers for me wishing that my back felt better. Another day I wasn't feeling so well he had walked down the alley to his great grandma's and on his way back he picked me some very pretty lilacs! He is so sweet and caring its hard not to love every little part of his being :)
Today we were playing outside and he wanted to ride is bike down the road and back. I said sure and played in the yard with Bryce. When Grady showed up he was smiling from ear to ear with these above flowers in hand. He proudly handed them to me and said "these flowers are for you mom just because I love you!!!" I love being a mama and a mama of two very precious little boys!
Having troubles uploading pictures so this is the only one...for now. I'll try again tomorrow to post all of the 'good' ones! We went on a 5 day cruise this week and it was pretty fun. We left Miami Saturday evening went to Ocho Rios-Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and back to the states by Thursday. We didn't care for the constant rocking of the boat despite taking motion sickness pills but we managed and came back a few pounds heavier with another country checked off of our list! This particular spot we are sitting in was at the Cayman Islands. It was amazingly beautiful. The water was SO VERY clear, the people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was undescribable. Would live there in a heart beat if all of my family could go too!!
