More Spring Break Vacation

When we were in Omaha we took the boys to Pump It Up which was an inflatable party room decked with slides, a jumping arena, and an obstacle course.
The SlidesThe Obstacle Courses
The Bouncing ArenaBig Brother helping Little Brother up the slide. These were not steps but only a bar to keep your foot grip and it was mostly pulling yourself up using the ropes. Proud of Brycie for being able to master it over and over by himself!Bryce coming down on the left and Grady coming down on the right. Bryce looked like a big X every time he went down but came up smiling bigger than life each time!
Rock Climbing was a hit

Spring Break Vacation

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Airport Hotel in Omaha for two nights and it is over the top Awesome! It has an indoor splash park, water slide, wave pool, regular pool and two adjoining hot tubs! Pure kid fun!
The Splash Park area which included dump buckets, water guns, multiple slides and much much more! So much fun for all, we are already planning our next trip to come back! The water slide from the inside shotThe water slide goes outside so at night (when I and Grady went for the first time) it was pure black for what seemed like minutes! Brad said it was only a 20 second ride from top to bottom but boy oh boy at night it seemed much longer! During the day the light of the sunshine made the whole thing red and much more easy to enjoy! Bryce went during the day and loved it, we couldn't keep them off of it!

This was one of the Best vacations our family has had

Fishing

Today we went fishing because Brad promised Grady we would yesterday when it was warm, sunny, and nice outside. The boys also bought bobbers and lures while on vacation and were eager to use them. A daddy can't back out on a promise to his boys so despite the cold, rainy weather today we went fishing. Oh, did I mention it is 40 some degrees outside... On the first cast in Brad caught a tiny blue gill. Bryce was scared of it and Grady wasn't that impressed because he wasn't the one that caught it. They lasted about a half hour in the rainy weather before everyone finally joined me in the pickup so we could go home! I love that my boys have an awesome daddy and a supportive mommy!!

Spring Break 2012

We went on a mini vacation to Omaha over our spring break! More pictures to follow but this is the only one from my phone and I wanted to share. We rode on the Farris Wheel at Sheels's to pass some time while daddy shopped through all of the hunting gear! Bryce Loved it, but Grady was only impressed slightly he wanted to walk around and look at all of the animals!

This is what you are greeted by when you enter our porch
and hang up your coat

Brad and I went to a bow hunters banquet last weekend where his elk
hung on the 'wall of greatness' for all bow hunters to ahh at!

Potty Trained

The boys were outside playing and I heard someone come inside. I was downstairs folding laundry and came upstairs to find this first picture then not long after I noticed a foot and heard a grunt coming from around the counter!!! Too much in a hurry to take off the stocking hat!

Bryce up and decided to potty train himself almost 2 weeks ago with less than a hand full of accidents since. Two kids at daycare are trying to be trained so I think that pushed him to want to do so. He is SO excited to go on any potty and Show you what he's done but be careful, he insists on a potty dance or song to congratulate him :) It's pretty cute and I feel VERY fortunate as a mama to have two boys train themselves within less than 1 day both at the age of 2!!!!!!!!!

Our Wendells

I feel very fortunate for my boys to still have 4 grandparents let alone 4 great grandparents. We named Bryce after Wendell and the two of them have so many alike mannerisms its scary. Bryce gestures, talks, and acts like Wendell in many, many ways. Bryce loves to pull himself up onto grandpa's lap to read, color or snuggle to watch westerns with him! But I think Bryce's all time favorite is crawling up on his lap to dunk his cookie in grandpa's coffee. Yes, you heard me right. Bryce likes to dunk just about anything in coffee because he sees grandpa Wendell do it!!

Love their expressions, so much alike
