We woke up Monday morning to the top picture. The wind was real strong all day and night. Fortunately and unfortunately Brad's pick up was parked where it was. It kept the tramp in our yard and from being ruined even worse but it put a dent in the side of his pick up. I called our neighbor and at 7am the three of us flipped it over and put it in our yard. Grady woke up, saw it and started crying because he thought we were going to have to throw it away! A few nights later I pieced it all back together and we are able to use it again but its probably not as safe as it was before the wind got it.
We also found out that we have to pay an extra $200 every year on our home owner's insurance to be able to keep it at our house. Living in town its a liability because anyone could get on it and get hurt with or without our permission. Its an awesome thing to have because of all the fun its provided us but boy is it causing us some troubles...
Crazy midwest wind! And $200 every year?! ...that thing is getting expensive.
ReplyDeleteWOW. Finn was traumatized by these photos! At first I thought it said "WINE + trampoline" and I thought, hmm, that does sound bad. but wind and trampoline ... much worse. I hope Brad's pickup is ok!
ReplyDeleteWhy is fun always stifled like this?!
