When we were kids Aunt Judy would get us cousins together holidays or not and watch us. Often she would take us to a movie, have pizza, play in her yard, have sleep overs, etc. I have fond memories of time spent with Aundy Judy as well as my cousins. This past week she made and brought this Easter Bunny to our house for our boys. It brought back memories from when I was a child. Thanks Judy for your thoughtfullness and spending Monday afternoon with us.

Independence
Today Grady was getting a little bored so I put some cans of juice in a sack and told him to take them to Grandma Phyllis's house. She lives just down the alley, I can watch him on his trek the entire way. I always call to make sure he arrives so I waited a few minutes to let him talk to Grandma then I called over to make 100% for sure that he made it IN the house.
The phone was ringing at Grandma's house and Grady answered...
Grady: "hello"
Me: "Grady, is Grandma there?"
Grady: "No"
Me: "Where is she?"
Grady: "She went to Litchfield" (a place where she gets her hair done)
Me: "What are you doing over there then?"
Grady: "Just hanging"
Me: "Well, please come back home since Grandma is gone"
Grady: "Ok mom, BYE!"
I hung up and walked outside to see him walking down the alley to come back home. You would have thought he was 9 years old not 3 years old. Pretty independent little man we have on our hands! I love how grown up he is but it makes me sad too.

Tyson's 30th Bday Bash
Easter Egg Hunt
In the background is Macy our neighbor girl who was
eager to help the boys out!
I and the boys' grandma Cyndy and great-grandma Phyllis I really thought Grady would get closer than this but Nope Bryce was having the Easter Bunny no more than he had Santa Claus This was the exact point that Bryce realized something fun was going on!
three hands are pointing at one egg and yelling his name
yet he went for a piece of candy in the grass :)
and determined to have it. It is just on the other side of the lady
standing there. He was running so fast and slid in for the grab.
who realized it was out there! It was packed full of candy
and a prize from one of the local business which was $5
This picture is Grady with Caydence one of his most precious friends

Wind + Trampoline = Destruction
We woke up Monday morning to the top picture. The wind was real strong all day and night. Fortunately and unfortunately Brad's pick up was parked where it was. It kept the tramp in our yard and from being ruined even worse but it put a dent in the side of his pick up. I called our neighbor and at 7am the three of us flipped it over and put it in our yard. Grady woke up, saw it and started crying because he thought we were going to have to throw it away! A few nights later I pieced it all back together and we are able to use it again but its probably not as safe as it was before the wind got it.
We also found out that we have to pay an extra $200 every year on our home owner's insurance to be able to keep it at our house. Living in town its a liability because anyone could get on it and get hurt with or without our permission. Its an awesome thing to have because of all the fun its provided us but boy is it causing us some troubles...
